What is the IPS

How does the IPS work?
ITRI has spent 7 years, and has filed 31 patents in developing the IPS.
The key technology is in the cold plates, and the way they are utilized
to maximize the length of time at constant temperature. The cold plates
are placed in a freezer for up to 6 to 10 hours to charge at a designated
temperature (ex: -25C), and then placed in commercial cooler boxes that
are designed to optimize the unique cold plate technology. The commercial
coolers are then placed in common carrier trucks. ITE plans to take this
existing technology, and in the joint partnership with ITRI customize it
for applications in various markets, such as life science (medical) and
air cargo.
